BRENDAN MURNANE
President
Brendan is a fun-loving guy with an affection for beer. Before entering the industry, Brendan spent 7 years working in local politics in Westchester County, New York. Throughout his whole life, Brendan enjoyed vacations at the lake. It was his dream to live in Bolton Landing, but there was one thing he knew the town was missing…a brewery! Well, Brendan decided to do something about that, and the Bolton Landing Brewing Company was born.
JOHN MURNANE
Chair
As a supportive father, John decided to team up with his son, Brendan, to make Brendan’s vision a reality. When not working, John can be found golfing with his wife Terri, or hanging out at the brewery to lend a hand.
SHAWN KERR
Head Brewer
Shawn joined forces with the Murnane family in early 2016 to start crafting the brewery. Shawn has always had a passion for science, and brewing beer enabled him to turn his hobby into a career. Before working at the Bolton Landing Brewing Company, Shawn brewed beer in Buffalo, New York for 12 Gates Brewing and Old First Ward Brewing. When not in the brewery, Shawn can be found paddleboarding on Lake George, chasing his pitbulls around the lake, or hiking and climbing somewhere in the ADKs.
RYLIE MURRAY
Bookkeeper
Born and raised in Berkley, Michigan, Rylie graduated in May 2019 from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She has been a part of the BLBC Team since 2018 as a Bartender and Bookkeeper. While at Potsdam, Rylie lettered in soccer and hockey, and has earned many athletic recognitions throughout her career there. She currently plays hockey competitively for the Saratoga Storm in a women's league and continues to play co-ed soccer. Her life is mostly consumed of sports and any other outside activities, such as hiking, fishing, and rollerblading with her German shepherd, Arya.
